The National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi) invites applications for admission to its Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs for the academic year 2026-27. Applications are to be submitted online as per the details provided below.

About the Notification

  • Online applications are invited for Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs.
  • Last date for submission of online applications: Monday, November 10, 2025.
  • The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

About the Course

Undergraduate Programme

  • B.A.LL.B. (Hons.)
  • Eligibility: Passed 10+2 or equivalent with minimum 45% marks (42% for OBC, 40% for SC/ST). Candidates appearing for 12th exams in 2025 are eligible.
  • Total Seats: 110 on AILET merit + 10 seats (5 each for Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO for direct admission).
  • Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO candidates are exempted from AILET but must have 65% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

Postgraduate Programme

  • LL.M. (One Year) Non-Residential Program
  • Eligibility: LL.B. or equivalent with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities). Final year candidates appearing for 2025 exam are eligible.
  • Total Seats: 70 on AILET merit + 10 seats (5 each for Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO for direct admission).
  • Additional supernumerary seat for Kashmiri Migrants.
  • Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO exempted from AILET.
  • Minimum aggregate marks required: 55% (50% for reserved categories).

Test Centres

  • AILET 2026 will be conducted at multiple cities across India, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram, and others.
  • If a test city has fewer than 100 candidates, the center will not be created; candidates will be allotted to alternate centers based on their preferences.

Application Fee

  • General candidates: Rs. 3,000
  • SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities: Rs. 1,000
  • SC/ST and women candidates below poverty line (BPL) are exempted from application fee payment.
